The welcome bonus: up to $9,075 AUD across 10 deposits
The main Surfplay Casino welcome offer is split across several deposits rather than paid as one large bonus. For Australian players, the complete package can reach $9,075 AUD and 225 free spins. The minimum deposit to activate the welcome bonus is $45 AUD, and each bonus remains valid for 7 days.
On this page
| Deposit | Match bonus | Free spins |
|---|---|---|
| 1st deposit | 100% up to $3,000 AUD | 100 spins |
| 2nd deposit | 50% up to $1,500 AUD | 75 spins |
| 3rd deposit | 100% up to $3,000 AUD | - |
| 5th deposit | - | 50 spins |
| 10th deposit | 30% up to $750 AUD | - |
The first two batches of free spins are played on Gates of Olympus or Elvis Frog in Vegas. The 5th-deposit spins use the same games. The full package is described as a total across the first three deposits, with the 5th and 10th deposits taking the overall value to the higher $9,075 AUD figure.
- Open your account
Complete the account setup, then choose AUD where it is available for your play and deposits.
- Make at least a $45 AUD deposit
The minimum qualifying deposit for the welcome bonus is $45 AUD.
- Select the applicable promotion
Choose the welcome offer before completing the qualifying deposit so the correct deposit stage can be applied.
- Continue through the deposit stages
The 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 10th deposits have their own rewards. Keep the 7-day validity period in mind for each active bonus.
The $45 AUD minimum matters
A deposit below $45 AUD does not meet the stated minimum for the welcome bonus. The ordinary minimum deposit is $30 AUD, but the promotional minimum is higher.
Wagering rules: what counts and how to work out the amount
Welcome bonus wagering is 40× the bonus amount only. Your deposit is not added to the bonus before the multiplier is applied. That makes the calculation fairly simple, although the active-bonus bet limit is important: the maximum bonus bet is $3 AUD.
For example, a $100 AUD bonus creates a wagering target of $4,000 AUD: $100 × 40. A $500 AUD bonus creates a $20,000 AUD target. These are turnover figures, not a promise of a return, and casino play still involves real financial risk.
| Game type | Contribution |
|---|---|
| Slots | 100%, except excluded titles in the terms |
| Live casino | 0% |
| Table games | 0% |
| Jackpot games | 0% |
A practical example: if you receive a $1,000 AUD bonus, the target is $40,000 AUD in qualifying slot bets. A $1,000 AUD live blackjack turnover does not reduce that target because live games contribute 0%. The same applies to table and jackpot games.
Keep active bonus bets at $3 AUD or less
The maximum bet with bonus funds is $3 AUD. Going above that can affect bonus eligibility, so keeping each qualifying bet within the limit is the safer way to use the offer.
Free spin winnings have their own 40× wagering requirement. Once that requirement is met, the maximum amount converted to real money is $75 AUD. The bonus validity period is 7 days, so it is worth keeping an eye on the promotion timer rather than leaving the offer until the last moment.
No Deposit Bonus: the closest bonus options at Surfplay
A no deposit bonus is not part of the current casino offers described here. The available promotions are deposit-based, so you need to fund an account to use the welcome package, reloads and the main free-spin rewards.
If you want bonus value without committing to the full 10-deposit package, the smaller options are easier to understand. The 1st deposit gives a 100% match up to $3,000 AUD and 100 free spins, while the 2nd deposit gives a 50% match up to $1,500 AUD and 75 free spins.
- Use at least $45 AUD for the welcome offer.
- Remember that bonus bets are capped at $3 AUD.
- Use qualifying slots for wagering contribution.
- Finish the bonus within 7 days.
- Treat free spin winnings as subject to 40× wagering and a $75 AUD conversion cap.
The regular minimum deposit is $30 AUD, while the welcome promotion has its own $45 AUD minimum. Deposits are credited instantly, and the casino charges no deposit fees. Surfplay Casino, also referred to as Casino Surfplay, supports AUD alongside other fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.
Promo Code START50 and other deposit promotions
The promo code START50 is linked to the sports welcome offer rather than the casino welcome package. It gives a 100% free bet up to $75 AUD, with the offer starting at a $75 AUD free bet amount in the stated AUD terms. The wider Sports Hunting Bonus can reach a 100% bonus up to $4,500 AUD.
There is also a sports second-deposit free bet of $7.50 AUD. That promotion requires a minimum deposit of $75 AUD. The integrated sportsbook covers football, basketball, tennis, horse racing and eSports, including live betting.
| Promotion | Reward | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Weekend Reload Bonus | 50% match up to $330 AUD | Deposits made Friday to Sunday |
| Tuesday Free Spins | Up to 200 free spins | Every Tuesday on selected games |
| Birthday Bonus | Up to $7,500 AUD | For eligible players |
| Daily cashback | Up to 20% | Available to all players |
Email promotions can include deposit match packages and free spins. Tournament-style offers are available too: Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins cash prizes and Wazdan Mystery Drops prizes use 0× wagering on cash prizes. Spinomenal Spinoleague leaderboard prizes are paid in cash.
Free Spins: deposit rewards, Tuesday offers and VIP prizes
Free spins are a major part of the Surfplay Casino bonus range. The welcome package gives 100 spins with the 1st deposit and 75 spins with the 2nd. A further 50 spins arrive with the 5th deposit, and all three welcome spins offers use Gates of Olympus or Elvis Frog in Vegas.
- Up to 200 free spins on selected games every Tuesday.
- 75 free spins on Gates of Olympus at VIP Level 1.
- 100 free spins on Gates of Olympus at VIP Level 2.
- 150 free spins on Gates of Olympus at VIP Level 3.
- 200 free spins on Gates of Olympus at VIP Level 4.
Free spin winnings require 40× wagering, and no more than $75 AUD converts to real money. That cap applies after the free-spin winnings have met the wagering rule, so the spins should be viewed as a promotional extra rather than cash with no conditions.
Cashback and VIP bonuses for regular players
Daily cashback can reach 20% and is available to all players. The six-level VIP club starts at Beginner, and status points are earned through real-money slot play only. For Australian players, one status point is earned for every $75 AUD wagered on slots.
| Level | Points | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 0-99 | No rewards |
| VIP Level 1 | 100-499 | 75 free spins |
| VIP Level 2 | 500-1,499 | 100 free spins and 6% daily cashback |
| VIP Level 3 | 1,500-9,999 | 150 free spins and 7% daily cashback |
| VIP Level 4 | 10,000-39,999 | 200 free spins and 8% daily cashback |
| VIP Level 5 | 40,000-99,999 | $1,500 bonus and 9% daily cashback |
| VIP Level 6 | 100,000+ | $3,000 bonus and 10% daily cashback |
The Level 2 cashback has 10× wagering. Levels 3 and 4 use 5× wagering, while Levels 5 and 6 use 3× wagering. The Level 5 and Level 6 cash bonuses have 10× wagering. VIP benefits also include dedicated hosts, cash prizes, personalised gifts, no-deposit free spins and exclusive tournament invitations.
